INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Repertory Theatre has announced that its fourth annual community night will take place on January 16, and celebrates the first play of the New Year, A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry and directed by Timothy Douglas.
Since 2014, the IRT has welcomed more than 230 patrons through its doors for community night, encouraging patrons to pay what they choose to enjoy a night of top-quality and entertaining live theatre.
Patrons who wish to purchase tickets for community night can do so by visiting the Ticket Office located at 140 W. Washington Street, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., beginning January 9.
Ticket prices range from $25-60 for this particular performance, and the community can pay what they choose to see this production. IRT leadership also invites patrons to a pre-show meet and greet from 6:30-7 p.m. with company staff in the IRT’s The Oasis to help familiarize first-time patrons with the Theatre. Patrons can also enjoy a pre-show chat starting at 6:50 p.m. featuring actors from A Raisin in the Sun.
The Indiana Repertory Theatre is located at 140 W. Washington Street. The special performance will be held at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m.
