GREENFIELD — The Weekly View’s own Al Hunter will be giving a talk about local history with a paranormal twist on Oct. 9 from 7:00-8:15 p.m. at the Hancock County Public Library, Greenfield Branch, 900 W. McKenzie Rd. Admission is free.
Hunter will share new, as well as familiar, stories with the audience, including a possible tie to the serial killer H.H. Holmes story and Greenfield. He’ll also talk about the curse of H.H. Holmes and how it relates to former a Greenfield resident and prominent lawyer. Folklore about the city, plus the surrounding area, will be part of the discussion.
Al’s weekly column covers historical figures or happenings with a ghostly twist. He has researched, scripted, and led the Irvington Ghost Walks for the past 10 years. Additionally, Al has co-authored two books on haunted Irvington and two books on the Historic Indiana National Road. He is currently working on two more books: one on haunted Indianapolis and the other, a compilation of his “Bumps in the Night” articles.
