INDIANAPOLIS – Chief Roach recently appointed Commander Chris Bailey to Deputy Chief of Investigations, Lt. Craig McCartt to the Major of Investigations, Major Tom Sellas to the Commander of Homeland Security, and Lt. Brian Mahone to the Major of Homeland Security.
Deputy Chief Chris Bailey joined the Indianapolis Police Department in 1999. In 2015, he was appointed as the North District Commander.
Major Craig McCartt joined the Indianapolis Police Department in 1995. Major McCartt is a recipient of the Medal of Valor, Medal of Merit, Unit Citation and Ruthann Popcheff Award.
Commander Tom Sellas joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in 1991. Commander Sellas has been a faculty member of IMPD’s Leadership Academy since its inception. Tom was awarded 2 Medals of Valor, Unit Citation and Homeland Security officer of the year.
Major Brian Mahone joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in 1996. Major Mahone served as both Southwest and Northwest District Commanders. Brian has also served as Community Affairs Branch and as Deputy Chief of Operations.
