INDIANAPOLIS The LOVE thy Neighborhood Awards were created to encourage the transformation of neighborhoods throughout the Indy region into authentic and vibrant places profoundly attractive and livable for both residents and visitors.Nominations are now open in all four award categories with projects that were completed prior to Dec. 31, 2016. The nomination deadline is Jan. 31, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Three finalists will be selected in each category and announced prior to the event. The award categories are livability, opportunity, vitality, and education. The winner in each category will be announced on April 27. In addition, a People’s Choice Award will be given, determined by voting of attendees at the event. Each winner will receive $5,000 award.
