The artist William Forsyth’s home, painted by his daughter, Constance, shortly after his death in 1935. This view was from a second floor bedroom of the Hilton U Brown home which stood on the Southwest corner of Emerson Avenue and Washington Street. The red building seen in the back left side was Forsyth’s studio. The home and studio were demolished.
