INDIANAPOLIS — Franciscan Health Indianapolis will be hosting a 6-week Men’s Bereavement Group in August and September at the Franciscan Hospice House.
The group will meet on six consecutive Tuesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. from July 7 through Aug. 11.
Among topics that are discussed during the sessions are: what is grief, who has died, normal feelings, special memories, helpful tools to cope and hope ahead.
The group is open to men who are grieving over the death of a spouse or loved one. The group offers a way for men to begin the healing process with other men who are dealing with the same feeling of grief as them.
The group will be led by Clyde Peddycord, who has led several sessions of the Men’s Bereavement Group at Franciscan.
To register for the Men’s Bereavement Group, call (317) 528-2636.
The Franciscan Hospice House is located at 8414 Franciscan Lane in Indianapolis.
