IRVINGTON — On Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m.-noon, Arbuckle & Sons Landscaping will be leading a streetscape cleanup for the median in Irvington. Meet at the library on the corner of Audubon and Washington. If you have your own shovels, rakes, safety vests and gloves, please bring them. A few will be available. Donuts and coffee will be provided for volunteers. Meet at the back of the library parking lot.
Arbuckle & Sons Landscaping has been maintaining the Irvington Streetscape for 10 years, and recently found out that the contract wasn’t being renewed and that there wasn’t a plan to maintain it this year. The company has decided to donate their time and resources this year for the Streetscape maintenance. Every year, they plant native, beautiful flowers and plants for all to enjoy.
