• The Perry Township / Southport Historical Society will take a trip back to the 1700’s as Bert Kite does an historic portrayal of John Wesley. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, in the Perry Township Education Center, 6548 Orinoco Ave.  Enter through the center doors at the northwest corner of the building.
• Franciscan Physician Network Family Medicine Perry Township is now offering primary care services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside the Baxter YMCA on the second floor. The clinic is staffed by a pair of nurse practitioners, Emily Hartnett, NP, and Shane Myint, NP. Both are seasoned nursing professionals offering proven clinical knowledge and strong communication skills. Myint is also fluent in Burmese. For appointments call (317) 781-7370. The Baxter YMCA is located at 7900 Shelby Street in Indianapolis.
• All branches of the Indianapolis Public Library offer a Seed Library, where you can pick up seed packets from March to September. Seeds for herbs, flowers, and vegetables are available. To see what seeds are at the branches, visit indypl.org/seeds.
• The Ransburg YMCA, 501 N. Shortridge Rd., has a refrigerated emergency food program with milk, eggs, cheese and fruit. You must register for the program. To register online, visit rb.gy/ylbd9d and fill out the forms.
• Epsilon Theatrical Company will present the Stephen Sondheim musical Into the Woods April 4-6 and 10-13 at Broadway United Methodist Church, 609 E. 29th St. Tickets are $20 and up. To order tickets, visit their Web site, epsilontheatricalco.org
• The Garfield Park Conservatory is hosting a Gnome Show, with the theme Gnomes through Time (and Away from Home) during Conservatory hours, Tues.-Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun. 1-5 p.m. Admission is $6 per person and $14 per family (max. 2 adults per family). Tickets are available at the door. The conservatory is located 2519 Garfield Plaza Dr. on the southeast side near Shelby and Southern. The display will be open through April 9.
• Indiana Poet Norbert Krapf will be the featured reader at the March 25 meeting of Poets Laureate in Lawrence. The reading is free and after Krapf reading, others are encourage to read a poem of their own. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and runs to 9 p.m. Readings take place on the 4th Tuesdays of the month Jan.-Oct. at Theatre at the Fort, 8920 Otis Ave. Enter by the Musical Swings.
• IPS Spring Break will be March 24-28. While the kids are off school, some of them may need food to get them through the days when free lunches are not available. The Big Red Box Project would appreciate kid-friendly food donations at one of their boxes: UMC at 30 N. Audubon, Community Hospital next to the 16th St. entrance, 400 S. Ritter next to Coal Yard Coffee, and 2015 S. Arlington at Good Shepherd Church. The boxes are available to people experiencing food insecurity.
