INDIANAPOLIS — The incredibly renovated interior of the landmark historic former PR Mallory Building on the near eastside of Indianapolis, will be on display at an open house on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 5:15-7:00 p.m. Now home to Purdue Polytechnic High School and Paramount Middle School, and situated at 3029 E. Washington St. the building has become an educational gem on the east side.
Vacant for 30 years, this important Indiana National Road site has been transformed into a stunning centerpiece for the rebirth of near Eastside Indianapolis. Winner of multiple awards for excellence, the project preserved many features of the original 100 year old structure.
Normally not accessible for public admission, the school will graciously host an open house for attendees at the Indiana National Road Association event, complete with student led tours of the High School spaces from 5:30 to 6:00 pm, followed by a presentation by Indiana National Road Association, Purdue Polytechnic High School/Paramount Middle School and Englewood Community Development Corporation.
