INDIANAPOLIS — RecycleForce will be moving to their newly constructed facility at 816 N. Sherman sometime in October. The new 126,000-square-foot facility will allow them to expand their services, and provide opportunities for more returning ex-offenders with jobs and support.
In 2022, RecycleForce achieved a 97.1% recycling rate. With new equipment, they hope to increase that percentage.
RecycleForce hopes to serve more individuals who are returning to the community in the next two or three years as a result of the move.
RecycleForce got its start in the former RCA plant that is currently being redeveloped as Sherman Park. Their new facility is less than a block from where they began many years ago.
