Harrison Center Presents Virtual First Friday Jan. 1

NDIANAPOLIS — On Jan. 1, 2021, the Harrison Center of the Arts will hold a virtual First Friday online. Enjoy the opening of “Pareidolia,” a group show focusing on the wonder of clouds. Participating artists include Kate Oberreich, Johnny McKee, Megan Jefferson, Josh Rush, Alicia Zanoni, and Kipp Normand.
Also opening is “A Stroll through Indy,” by Rebecca Robinson, a new body of work featuring mixed media pieces with concrete, tar, and white latex.
Additionally, Pamela Watson will present “Out of Context,” a series of photo realistic animal charcoal drawings.
Viewers can also enjoy a new collection of fiber work by Jamie Lynn Williams, entitled, “Stitch. Pattern. Repeat.”
“Imperfection,” artworks including abstract paintings by John Ross and sculptures of wood and brass by Steve Mannheimer, will open as well.

After the virtual First Friday, all shows are open for in-person, socially distanced visitors Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., beginning Jan. 4. Make an appointment online at harrisoncenter.org/buy-art.
The Harrison Center’s annual “Holiday Window Walk” is also up for some safe, outdoor family fun. Please enjoy these displays that are open for viewing 24/7 around the perimeter of the building at 16th and Delaware.
