INDIANAPOLIS — The one-act play Wind Chimes and Promises will be performed on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the 37 Place Community Center, 2605 R. 25th St., in the Brightwood Martindale neighborhood at 2 p.m.
Based on the memoir by Phyllis Adair Ward, and adapted by Rita Kohn, the work chronicles the life of Adair-Ward’s mother Prudence and her life in the early 19th century Indianapolis neighborhood of Brightwood-Martindale. Actress Tessia Clark stars in the show.
