INDIANAPOLIS —The new IPS Hall of Fame Awards will recognize and salute the outstanding people and organizations making measurable differences throughout the district. Awards will be given in the following categories:
• Inspiring Alumni – A graduate of a current or former IPS school recognized for outstanding professional and community accomplishments.
• Principal of the Year – An IPS school leader who has a proven track record of instructional leadership.
• Outstanding Staff Member – An IPS employee with an outstanding commitment to the overall district.
• Engaging School – An IPS school that has actively deepened community partnerships and family engagement.
• Excellence in Innovation – An IPS innovation school partner or an innovation school that has reimagined what’s possible through out-of-the-box pathways to excellence, from academics to parent involvement to school culture.
• Community Partner in Action – An individual or a community organization that consistently works with the district or an individual IPS school or schools to actively deepen student and family success.
Nominations are open through Friday, Feb. 7. To submit nomination(s) and learn more about the awards, visit www.myips.org/halloffame. Winners will be honored during the IPS Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony on May 30.
