INDIANAPOLIS — Join IndyGo, the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Providence Cristo Rey High School, 75 N. Belleview Pl., for the second public workshop to discuss efforts to establish transit-oriented development in the city along bus rapid transit corridors.
The workshop will discuss information about the Indy Blue Line, a proposed 24 mile rapid transit line that would run along Washington St. from the airport to Cumberland. Like the Red Line that serves a north-south route, the Blue Line would have dedicated bus lanes and fixed, covered stations. It would replace the existing Route 8 local service.
