FORTVILLE — The Fortville Elementary 4th grade students have used their STEAM skills to create a “Gingerbread Town of Fortville” and invited the businesses they researched to an Open House. The students showcased the delicious replica of the Town of Fortville, plus the research they did on each business they replicated. They created a QR code that takes the user to their report and turns on a circuit street light that they built. In addition, the 4th grade students made 3D decorations on a 3D printer.
The project allowed the students to show off their STEAM skills (STEAM = science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) to business owners,
Fortville Elementary School (FES) is located at 8414 N. 200 W. in Fortville. The display will be at FES through December 18.
