LAWRENCE — The City of Lawrence cut the blue ribbon and officially opened the new Lawrence Police Department’s new headquarters, located at 5150 N. Post Rd.
The new 37,000 square foot facility will act as a public safety hub, providing a 112-seat community meeting space, a garage to house equipment and vehicles, the dispatch center, interview rooms, a K-9 kennel, and a fitness center for officers.
