INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD Chief of Police Bryan Roach and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett along with the IMPD Command Staff presented IMPD East District Officers along with other Officers from IMPD various awards for jobs well done and going above and beyond their call of duty.
Awards were bestowed on the following:
• Purple Heart: Officer Eric Rosenbaum (Medal of Valor also)
• Medal of Valor: Officer Michael Cheh
• Medal of Bravery: Officer Austin Crowe, Sergeant Jack Simpson, Officer Ronald Trimble, Officer Justin Callahan, Officer Christopher Mills
• Medal of Merit: Officer Gerry Torres
• East District Day FLEX Team: Sergeant Jeffrey Augustinovicz, Officer Matthew McDonald, Officer Jeremy Messer, Officer Jason Reetz, Officer Phillip Robinett, and Officer Nathan Schaller.
• East District Community Resource Unit: Officer Stacy Riojas, Officer Samone Willis, Officer Roman Williams-Ervin, and Officer Fred Carpenter.
