“Grease” at Beef & Boards

INDIANAPOLIS – Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s production of Grease, one of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals, has all the fun of the hit film. The show runs through March 31.
Welcome back to 1959 when Sandy Dumbrowski, the new girl in town, and Danny Zuko, the school’s coolest greaser, have a secret summertime romance. But when classes start at Rydell High School, everything is different. Sandy attempts to navigate the tricky social waters and catch Danny’s attention again, but Danny is chiefly concerned with maintaining his tough-guy reputation. In the end, the Pink Ladies help Sandy figure out how to win him back. Grease features the hit songs “Greased Lightnin’,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Summer Nights.”
Nominated for seven Tony Awards, Grease debuted on Broadway on Feb. 14, 1972, and went on to be adapted into an Acadamey Award-nominated film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John in 1978.
Sarah Daniels and Kaleb Lankford, in the roles of Sandy and Danny, lead the many performers in the cast who are making their Beef & Boards debut in this production.
Grease is on stage for 57 performances. Tickets range from $45 to $70, and include Chef Odell Ward’s dinner buffet, fruit & salad bar, unlimited coffee, tea and lemonade.
