INDIANAPOLIS IndyGo invites the public to review and comment on the proposed fare policy changes to go in effect spring 2019. IndyGo is transitioning its bus service to a grid-based network, adding three rapid transit lines, and improving local routes.
The proposed change of fare policy includes:
• IndyGo base fare $1.75 ($0.85 half fare) will include 2-hour transfer ticket
• Option of an account-based system with tap card and mobile phone app
• Fare capping for customers using account-based system
A survey, the full policy proposal, and a narrated presentation are available online at https://www.indygo.net/farepolicy/ .

Additionally, all are encouraged to attend one of three (3) meetings.
•Wed., Feb. 6 at Central Library, Knall Meeting Room, 40 E. St. Clair Street, at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 .pm.
Public comments will be accepted in person at the meetings, online, over the phone, and at the Transit Center until Friday, February 22, 2019 at 5:00 pm. The final public hearing will be on Feb. 28 at the IndyGo Board Room, 1501 W. Washington St. at 5:00 p.m.
