GREENWOOD — A One-Artist-Show by Indiana artist Roy Boswell at the Southside Art League Off Broadway Gallery in April, 2025. He will be exhibiting a unique collection of oil and acrylic paintings.
Boswell, born in 1985, is based in Butlerville, Indiana. His subject matter reflects his personal connection to his childhood on a family farm, exploring themes of nostalgia and rural tranquility. His work is characterized by tight value families, inventive color palettes and-well designed compositions.
Roy Boswell has won numerous Best of Show awards, including Indiana Heritage Arts Annual Exhibition, Richmond Art Museum Annual Exhibition (twice), First Blush of Fall (twice), Carmel on Canvas, and Will Vawter Annual Exhibition.
The artwork will be displayed at SALI from April 2-26, 2025 at the Southside Art League, Inc. (SALI) Off Broadway Gallery, located at 299 E. Broadway Street, Greenwood, 2 blocks north of Main St. and 6 blocks east of Madison Avenue in historic Old Town Greenwood.
Visit the gallery during regular hours Wed. – Sat. 11 a.m.– 3 p.m. There will be a reception for Boswell on Friday, April 11, 6 – 8 p.m..
