submitted photo Groundbreaking ceremonies occurred at the site of the new Indianapolis Public Library branch to be located in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood at 2434 N. Sherman Drive. The $5.9 million, 15,000-square-foot library will replace the current storefront Brightwood Branch in the Brightwood Shopping Center that has served patrons since 1972. The new branch is scheduled to open at the end of 2019.
