INDIANAPOLIS — Film historian Eric Grayson will screen his popular, interactive Origins of Cinema, featuring films from 1894 to 1912, at the Garfield Park Arts Center, 2432 Conservatory Dr., on Sat., Sept. 8, at 8 p.m.
Grayson poses the questions (which will be answered at the screening, along with many others): Ever wonder how movies started? Why Edison got so much credit? When did color start? Why do the films look so blown-out?
Grayson will narrate the silent films, introduce the screening, and answer questions during the Q&A following the program.
Admission is $5 and concessions are $1. For more information, visit www.gpacarts.org or call 317-327-7135.
