Buck Creek Players Present “Nuts”

INDIANAPOLIS – Who should be incarcerated in a mental hospital? Who has the right to decide whether an unstable person is capable of standing trial in America? Should the state decide? A psychiatrist? The suspect herself? These are some questions with which a court must grapple in Nuts, a courtroom melodrama by Tom Topor, scheduled to open the Buck Creek Players 44th season of quality community theater. Shows will be on the weekends of Sept. 29-Oct. 1 and Oct. 6, 7, 8
Running for six performances over two weekends, showtimes are at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse on the southeast side of Indianapolis at 11150 Southeastern Ave. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and senior citizens (age 62 and up).
