Martin University Launches Instrumental Music Program May 14

INDIANAPOLIS — Martin University will launch a new Instrumental Music Program with a Musical Celebration on Sun., May 14 at 3:00 p.m. This special event will be held in the Father Boniface Hardin Gathertorium on Martin’s campus located at 2186 N. Sherman Drive in Indianapolis. The celebration will be led by the director and performer of the San Francisco All Star Big Band, David Hardiman, Sr., and feature well-known local musicians and vocalists Sandy Lomax, Everett Greene, the “Finnell Factor,” Vickie Daniel, and the Shaheed Quartet, among others.

The concert of jazz vocal and instrumental music is free and open to the public.  An opportunity to donate to the new instrumental music program will be available.

Special guests of the musical event will be all alumni of Martin University who will receive a special pin in honor of the celebration.
