INDIANAPOLIS — Mayor Joe Hogsett announced that the Historic Fletcher Place Neighborhood will be the City’s ‘Neighborhood of the Month’ for July 2016. The initiative, which features a new Indianapolis neighborhood each month, will highlight the great community, cultural and small business offerings of the area, as well as the people and organizations investing in the community.
“I’m excited to highlight Fletcher Place as this month’s Neighborhood of the Month,” said Mayor Hogsett. “Fletcher Place has continually received regional and national recognition for their physical revitalization, investment in social and cultural spaces, and unique community partnerships. From long time neighborhood favorites to new restaurants, businesses and developments, the residents of Fletcher Place have a lot to be proud of.”
Residents and visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #IndyNoM when posting on social media about Fletcher Place during the month of July. To nominate your neighborhood for Neighborhood of the Month visit indy.gov/NoM.
