INDIANAPOLIS — The Near Eastside Neighborhood Summit for spring will be held April 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Westminster Neighborhood Services, 2325 East New York St. Near eastside neighbors are invited to attend.
At the Near Eastside Neighborhood Summit, ordinary neighbors are empowered to make our neighborhood a great place to live, work, learn, worship, and play. Any neighbor has the opportunity to share an idea, challenge, or opportunity that she or he thinks the community should take action on. If other neighbors agree that the idea should be pursued, a vote is taken to add the idea to the Near Eastside Quality of Life Plan. After the vote, neighbors team up with our neighborhood agencies to set a goal and create a plan for action.
