INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Fire Department has announced that registration is open for the annual IFD Firefighter for a Day Camp has opened. Kids 6-12 can come for a day of learning and fun with IFD, including washing a fire truck and playing in water. The camp is free, and will be held June 13-15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. The camp will be held outside in the football field next to the Warren Township Trustee Office, 501 N. Post Rd.
In addition, IFD is looking for parents or other adults to volunteer to chaperone and maybe participate in a couple of activities themselves.
