INDIANAPOLIS — EclecticPond Theatre Company presents Macbeth, by William Shakespeare Oct. 24-Nov. 9 at the Irvington United Methodist Church, 30 N. Audubon.
“Fair is foul, and foul is fair” – Macbeth’s desire to gain power and keep it at all costs threatens to destroy a nation, replacing dignity and rule of law with guilt and paranoia. Set in the American 1950s, see Shakespeare’s greatest couple rise and fall with each choice they make. Catherine Cardwell directs her immediate and visceral adaption of Shakespeare’s intense, claustrophobic and bloody drama.
Performances will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 24, 25, Nov. 1, 7, and 8 and at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 9 days; Tickets are $12-$20. Visit eclecticpond.org for more information
