“Hair” at the Athenaeum through July 20

INDIANAPOLIS — BOBDIREX opens its 5th year in Indianapolis with the American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, Hair.
Hair is the story of a ‘tribe’ who struggle to balance their young lives, loves, and the sexual revolution with their rebellion against the war, their conservative parents and conservative America. The musical is directed by Bob Harbin.
The Athenaeum Theatre is once again the home of  BOBDIREX and this Athenaeum Docent Club production. The show runs through July 20. Evening performances are at 7:30 and the Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 with discounts for Seniors and groups of 20 or more. Because of its subject matter, language and brief nudity, Hair is only for Mature Audiences. There is ample street parking around the building and a lot just east of the Athenaeum. The Rathskeller  Restaurant is located in the basement of the building. Call 317-280-0825 for tickets.
