Irvington Historical Society Receives DAR Award

IRVINGTON — At its May meeting, the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented its Historic Preservation Award to the IHS in recognition of the Society’s continuing preservation efforts. IHS Executive Steve Barnett was the featured speaker at the meeting, discussing the role of the IHS in the preservation of Irvington history. After his talk, he was surprised with the presentation of the award.
