Cruise-In the the Hancock County Historical Society

GREENFIELD — Bring your Classic Cars, Hot Rods and Tricked Out Trucks to the Hancock County Historical Society on April 20, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. for the 5th Annual Cruise-in. (Rain date will be April 21, 2013 1-4 p.m.)  This year, Rods in Progress of Greenfield is a co-sponsor of this event. Park your vehicle along the lane that runs along the Chapel in the Park and the Old Log Jail at the corner of Apple and Main Streets.
For observers, parking is available in the lot near the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department Offices, and Riley Park Pool.  This event is free, but donations are being accepted to help fund the Historical Society’s building fund.  Food and beverages will be for sale, and 50’s and 60’s music will be provided.  Joe Skvarenina will be signing his new book, Hancock County Post Card History.  Both the Chapel in the Park and the Old Log Jail will be open for tours on that day free of charge.
