INDIANAPOLIS — Mayor Greg Ballard, Indianapolis Public Library CEO Jackie Nytes and Travis DiNicola, Executive Director of Indy Reads, recently introduced a new program to make sure that every child in Indy receives a book as a gift this holiday season.
“Jingle Books” will make free books available to parents at all Indianapolis Public Library locations and at Indy Reads Books (911 Mass Ave). Parents can pick through available books and even gift wrap the book on site. People can also donate new or gently-used children’s books at these locations by simply dropping off the books at the Jingle Books display. Books will be available through Dec. 23.
