Lutheran High School of Indianapolis junior Elijah Brandt earned Gold at the Indiana State School Music Association state competition. He played The Harmonious Blacksmith by George Frideric Handel in the solo saxophone event in early March. Elijah is the son of Michael and Kathleen Brandt of Indianapolis.
