LAWRENCE — The Lawrence International Festival will be held Saturday, May 9 from noon- 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Civic Plaza, 5710 Lawrence Village Pkwy. The festival is a vibrant celebration of world cultures right in the heart of the community. Experience an afternoon filled with delicious international cuisine, live cultural performances, music, art, and more. This family-friendly festival will showcase the rich diversity that makes Lawrence such a special place to live, work, and visit.
Performers include Grupo Folclorico Macehuani, Carlos Torres del Peru, Indy Raqs. Food vendors include Jamaican, Mexican, Barbecue, ice cream, and much more. Several resources and merchandise sellers will be on hand.
The festival is free and all are welcome.
