Saying Goodbye to the Ransburg Y

The east side of Indianapolis mourns the loss of the Ransburg YMCA as the doors will close on March 31. For 67 years, the Ransburg was more than just a place to work out, but a place to create community and fellowship for people of all ages. It was a resource, a safe place to hang out, and a refuge to many. The loss of Ransburg Y has been devastating to those who have been shaped by their programs. There will be a Reflection Open House on Monday, March 30 from 4-8 p.m. to celebrate and reminisce about the memories of the Ransburg Y.
