INDIANA — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced that the Level Up 31 project is moving into the second phase of construction. This phase includes ramp and lane closures, local access restrictions, and detours.
The following traffic impacts are already in place for Phase 2 construction:
• Full-time inside shoulder closure and intermittent stoppages on I-465 eastbound and westbound from Spring Mill Road to College Avenue and Meridian Street northbound and southbound at the interchange
• New traffic pattern at southbound U.S. 31 at the I-465 ramp and Meridian Street split
• Southbound U.S. 31 reduced to a single lane between 106th street and the I-465 interchange
Closures and re-routing will begin Sunday, March 15, weather permitting.
