INDIANAPOLIS – Franciscan Health in partnership with Chin Community of Indiana (CCI) will be hosting a Health Resource Day on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at Indiana Zion Baptist Church in Indianapolis from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Several vendors will be on-site offering free resources and information, including blood pressure screenings and mobile bone density testing. In addition, free flu shots will be administered.
One hour breakout sessions, featuring Becca Biedler, Chase Kunkel and Glenn Kisch are scheduled.
Biedler, who is an instructional designer and community strength coach, will host the first breakout session at 1:30 p.m., entitled: Move Well, Live Well: Strength Training for Health and Independence.
Chase Kunkel, director of Franciscan Insurance Services & Senior Promise, will discuss how to manage Medicare and Medicaid at 2:30 p.m.
Kisch, a clinical pharmacist, will lead the final breakout session at 3:30 p.m., entitled: A Healthy Approach to Your Medications for Chronic Disease.
Indiana Zion Baptist Church is located at 8435 South Shelby St. in Indianapolis.
