INDIANAPOLIS — The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is proud to recognize six graduating seniors from Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School for completing the Y Achievers Program, a youth empowerment and college-readiness initiative. The students were honored at a celebration.
The partnership between the YMCA and Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School began in 2022, rooted in a shared commitment to preparing students for academic success and leadership. Since then, the Y Achievers Program has offered students career exploration, college preparation, three college tours, mentorship, and support with financial aid and scholarship applications.
This year’s graduating class includes six students who have all committed to pursuing higher education:
• Alexandria Green
• Justus Johnson
• Dayli Marshall
• Maxine Pounds
• Henri Maye
• Asaph Mozee
Each of these young achievers has demonstrated resilience, growth, and leadership throughout their time in the program.
