INDIANAPOLIS – More than $100,000 in renovations to the historic Murat Shrine Center (formerly Murat Shrine Temple) are now complete and the new Downtown Dinner Theatre is preparing for opening weekend.
Visitors to the new venue will be treated to new stage draperies, stage lighting, sound system, seating, signage, acoustics, and more, as well as a world-class dinner and entertaining musical review.
Downtown Dinner Theatre is a new partnership between the Murat Shrine of Indiana and On-Stage LIVE! Entertainment. The two separate nonprofits will host a full season of six shows.
Tickets are still available for the first show, Imagination, featuring songs about bringing dreams to life. To celebrate the theatre’s grand opening, Hoosiers and visitors can buy one adult ticket and get a second one half off. Patrons should enter the code BOGO50 when ordering online.
Imagination runs through May 18. Tickets are now available online at www.downtowndt.com or by calling the Box Office at 317-635-2433, Ext 190.
