INDIANAPOLIS — Martin University recently announced the hiring of Kenneth Mayfield as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently Mayfield was CFO of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. His responsibilities will include managing all financial functions of the University based on his background and expertise in budgeting, financial planning and analysis, compliance, and internal controls. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience in public sector finance, strategy, and operations leading teams through periods of both transformation and sustained growth.
He holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Financial Management from Indiana University. He remains active in the professional finance community and most recently served as President of the Central Indiana Chapter of the AGA (formerly Association of Government Accountants), where he promoted excellence in public sector financial leadership and professional development.
