CUMBERLAND — Food, Insecure is a new and compelling 30-minute documentary about the problem of hunger in Indiana. 25% of families rarely or never eat a healthy meal. It offers inspiration and action steps to help alleviate the problem. There will be a free viewing and panel discussion, Friday, April 25, at 7 p.m., at Cumberland FBC, 116 S. Muessing St., Cumberland.
Panelists Dave Miner, film content advisor and long-time groundbreaker for multiple anti-hunger efforts including Bread for the World, and Joey Inskeep, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, will lead an open discussion of Indiana food insecurity and available action steps.
Hosted by Community Ministry Outreach Eastside, a food pantry supported by nine churches. Register for the event on EventBrite.com
