INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation recently announced ramp closures on the southeast side of Marion County starting early November.
Crews have closed the eastbound Southeastern Ave. to I-465 northbound ramp and the I-465 northbound to Shadeland Ave. ramp. The I-74 westbound to I-465 northbound and southbound movements will remain open. The ramp closures will allow crews to safely complete sign foundation work. This work is expected to be complete by Monday, November 18, weather permitting.
The official detour for the eastbound Southeastern Ave. to I-465 northbound ramp will be Arlington Ave. to Brookville Rd. to I-465. Motorists on I-465 wanting to get to Shadeland Ave. via the collector/distributor ramp will exit at Southeastern Ave. and follow the same detour.
