GREENFIELD — Greenfield Idol auditions will be held Saturday, February 1 from noon until 3 p.m. and Monday, February 3rd from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Quality Inn at 2270 N. State Street in Greenfield. Auditions are open to contestants aged 15 and above–and there is significant prize money at stake.
The winner (competition rounds are Saturday, February 22nd and Saturday, March 1st) will walk away with not only the title of Greenfield Idol for 2014, but $300, followed by $200 for the runner-up, and $100 for third place.
Auditioners should prepare to sing two songs a capella before the Greenfield Idol committee members. Those who are accepted into the competition will be notified within 48 hours of auditioning. A non-refundable $15 registration fee is due at auditions. The proceeds from the competition will go to help fund the KidsPlay children’s theatre college scholarship.
If you’re interested in auditioning, contact Christine Schaefer at Chris@CrazyLake.com or visit the Greenfield Idol Facebook page.
