INDIANAPOLIS — Registration is now open for the 2022 Midwestern Roots research conference presented by the Indiana Historical Society, taking place Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 at the Indianapolis Marriott East, located at 7202 E. 21st St.
Midwestern Roots connects people to their family stories with a regional focus. The conference includes different session formats, storytellers with different backgrounds and experiences, and a vendor hall. There are also special events, including a special luncheon with Diana Hunter of the Miami Tribes of Oklahoma, and storyteller Tim Pinnick’s presentation of foods unique to the journey of immigrants.
