Depression Era Indiana Post Office Murals

An exhibit on the Depression Era Indiana Post Office murals, on loan from the Indiana Historical Society to the Irvington Historical Society, is currently showing at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center, 5350 E. University Ave. Among the featured murals depicted is the one at the Pendleton, Indiana Post Office done by William Kaeser, a member of the Irvington Group of artists. Also showing, from the Irvington Historical Society’s collection, is Kaeser’s charcoal figure study for the mural. The exhibit is available for viewing on Wednesdays from 1- 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. through the end of October.
