IRVINGTON — Our Lady of Lourdes will hold its annual Fall Festival September 30 through October 2. Hours are 5-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 2-10 p.m. on Saturday. The church is located at 5333 E. Washington St. and is a cash-only event (an ATM is available on the grounds).
The annual festival features carnival rides, games of chance and skill, live entertainment, and a great place to meet with friends in the community. Festival food is on the menue as well.
There is a raffle with a $5,000 grand prize, plus a silent auction will all sorts of things to bid on. Inside, you can play Texas Poker for fun.
Proceeds of the festival support the church, which was established in 1909 and dedicated by Bishop Chatard. The school was created in 1911.
