INDIANAPOLIS — The Elephant Garden, a community garden established in 2015, has a vegetable stand at 3348 N. Sherman Dr. Hours are Monday & Friday, 3-7 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The stand may be closed due to bad weather.
Vegetables are grown in the midst of the Brightwood food desert and money goes back into upkeep on the community garden. Vegetables, fresh herbs, plants, and dried herbs are available in season. EBT/SNAP customers get 50% purchases.
