On March 24, an East District officer encountered a citizen enjoying a leisurely stroll in Irvington in a T-Rex costume. Wondering if this was a personal protective suit, she pulled over to inquire, and it turns out the person just thought it would be a fun thing to do on a nice day. The ‘Rex was practicing safe distancing during the walk and no citation was given.
IMPD assures us that, if an invasion of T-Rexes begins, they will be on duty to answer the call.
