IRVINGTON — The Irvington Business Association is hosting the Irvington Holiday Open House on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5-10 p.m. throughout the commercial district.
Bittersweet, located at 5545 E. Washington, will host a Gingerbread House Contest. Bring in a decorated gingerbread house between Dec. 4-6. Customers can come in and vote their favorite house, and afterwards prizes will be awarded. During the open house, the houses will be on display. In addition, visitors are invited to decorate their own sugar cookie during the open house.
Artisan Realtors will hold a Tree Auction to raise funds for the ICAN Food Pantry. Visit their headquarters at 5610 E. Washington St. and place a bid for your favorite tree, all of which will be decorated by Irvington businesses.
Santa arrives at George Thomas Florist during the open house. Bring your wish list and get your picture taken with Santa (pickup photo at Walgreens at 10th and Arlington).
Hampton Designs Studio and Shop will host Reindeer Makeovers at 5515 E. Washington. Stop in, pick out your antlers, put on some reindeer makeup, and show off your new look!
The Circle City Handbell Ensemble will be ringing in the season at the Irvington Library, 5625 E. Washington. Irvington Vinyl and Books will host live jazz by Tucker Brothers, plus magic by Dave Smith.
