IRVINGTON — Irvington churches again will host the Irvington Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Our Lady of Lourdes School Cafeteria, 30 South Downey Ave., on Thursday, November 28. Doors will open at 11 a.m. for a social hour and dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Dinners also will be delivered upon request. Last year nearly 500 meals were served with many being delivered.
For over 30 years the Irvington Community Thanksgiving Dinner has provided a place for friends and neighbors to enjoy fellowship, entertainment, door prizes, and of course turkey, dressing and all the trimmings on Thanksgiving Day.
To attend or request delivery, please contact the Parish Office at Our Lady of Lourdes at 317-356-7291 or parishsecretary@ollindy.org by Tuesday, November 26th. Please provide name and the number of people attending, or if requesting delivery, please provide name, address, telephone number and number of meals requested.
There is no cost for the dinner but free-will offerings to defray expenses will be gratefully accepted. If you have any questions, or if you would like to donate or volunteer, please call or email the Parish Office.
